The Toronto Institute for Dental Excellence Inc. (TIDE) is a ‘grassroots' organization that been committed to providing quality AGD approved education for dental professionals for over 8 years. For 2011, TIDE has a vision to elevate their status as a dental learning provider as well as bring the TIDE name to the forefront of dentistry across Ontario and Canada.

In 2011, TIDE meetings are centrally located at Sala Caboto in Villa Colombo (Dufferin and Lawrence, Toronto). In addition to being easily accessible by all major routes, the organization itself, Villa Charities, has a long standing history of community outreach. Courses will also be held at Nobel Biocare's state-of-the-art training centre located at Hwy 7 and Leslie, Richmond.

TIDE is a multidisciplinary and multi-levelled continuing education provider. Participants have the opportunity to attend evening and full day didactic courses that comprise the Wave I Program, full day hands on courses that comprise the Wave II Program and the Lin Implant Training Program courses for Implant Placement in patients that comprise the Wave III Program. The TIDE program is streamlined and selective. In addition to sponsored events TIDE has implemented the TIDE Member Requested Session. The 2011 TIDE member requested session will be the Multidisciplinary Treatment Planning Symposium. The symposium will feature 6 dental specialists discussing complications in the areas of: endodontics, aesthetics, bonding/veneers, prosthodontics, periodontics, implant surgery and oral surgery.
