The Toronto Institute for Dental Excellence Inc. (TIDE) is a ‘grassroots' organization that been committed to providing quality AGD approved education for dental professionals for over 7 years. For 2010, TIDE has a vision to elevate their status as a dental learning provider as well as bring the TIDE name to the forefront of dentistry across Ontario and Canada.

In 2010, TIDE meetings are centrally located at the Columbus Centre (Dufferin and Lawrence, Toronto). In addition to being easily accessible by all major routes, the organization itself, Villa Charities, has a long standing history of community outreach.

TIDE is a multidisciplinary and multi-levelled continuing education provider. Participants have the opportunity to attend evening and full day didactic courses that comprise the Wave I Program, full day hands on courses that comprise the Wave II Program and the Academy of Integrated Implant Dentistry courses for Implant Placement in patients that comprise the Wave III Program. The TIDE program is streamlined and selective. In addition to sponsored events TIDE has implemented the TIDE Member Requested Session . This is when TIDE, itself, will sponsor a world class speaker (with no primary corporate sponsor) for the members. In 2010, the TIDE Member Requested Session will be presented by Dr. Gerard Chiche.
